I’m a first‑year Ph.D. student in Penn State’s College of Information Sciences and Technology, advised by Dr. Saeed Abdullah. Before coming to Penn State, I spent a wonderful year at Pitt SCI working as a course coordinator for the MDS program after completing my master’s in information science there. During that time, I worked on several interesting projects in computational social science and NLP—including studies of gendered immigration, postgraduate labor dynamics, and gaming toxicity. Earlier, I earned my B.E. in Software Engineering from Zhengzhou University in China, where my undergraduate thesis explored medical‑image classification.
